Illya’s Honey is published biannually and is always accepting submissions of poetry and microfiction (up to 500 words). There are no deadlines. Tentative publication dates are May and November. Any material received after one issue is complete will be considered for the following issue.
All subjects and styles are welcome, but we do not accept previously published work or simultaneous submissions. Microfiction should be near or under 500 words. Include name, address, phone and e-mail address on all submissions. Please, be certain that your name appears on every page. Submit up to five pieces at a time, with a short bio. Poetry and fiction may be combined in the same submission. Always include an SASE for notification or return of your work (indicate which). Submissions received without an SASE will not be read or returned. We do not accept e-mail submissions. Please see a recent edition of Poet’s Market for general guidelines on submitting work.
Payment is one copy. First North American rights belong to Illya’s Honey, all other rights revert to author. Send submissions, requests for guidelines, and other queries to the address below.
